Get the Gold and Run!

Made for 7DRL 2021.

You are an old archaeologist who thinks he's finally hit his big score. You enter the ancient temple in an attempt to find treasure and return outside to show the world these historic artefacts. Watch out though, the temple has a magical spell which shifts the hallways around as you are inside. Also there are many dangerous creatures and traps! 

The goal of the game is to collect as much treasure as you can and get back out with the highest score. 

 The Level will magically reconfigure randomly as you move through it.  

 

Controls 

WASD or Arrows Keys to move 

E to flip through Items  

Space to use Items (Some items require a Direction as Well) 

Q opens Quit screen 

 

Items  

Knife - Stronger than no Item 

Sword- Stronger than Knife 

Whip- Short-range attack (requires direction) 

Gun- Long Range attack (requires direction) 

Wedge- Stops Spikes and Boulders (requires direction) 

Potion- Heals you 

Garlic- Scares away enemies 

 

Scoring 

Gold- 1 point each 

Ruby- 3 points each 

Golden Turtle - 5 points each 

Dr. Goldman- 10 points for each pair (0 for 1 ) 

Big Gold - grows exponentially
